Terms of Use

Last updated 8 July 2026

These terms govern your use of Hope Health & Safety (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. Please read section 3 carefully — it explains what this assessment is, and importantly, what it is not.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Hope Health & Safety, a company registered in Bulgaria (registered name and company number: [to be completed]). You can contact us at contact@hopehealthsafety.com.

2. What the Service offers

The Service is an educational self-evaluation tool for mental well-being and stress. It offers a short free set of questions and, after a one-time payment, a full assessment of 12 areas across 121 questions with a colour-coded report and evidence-based suggestions.

3. Important: not medical advice

The Service is a screening and self-awareness tool, not a medical device, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not create a doctor–patient or therapist–client relationship and is not a substitute for professional advice.
  • The instruments used (such as PHQ-9, GAD-7 and WHO-5) are validated screening questionnaires that indicate whether further assessment may be helpful — they do not, on their own, diagnose any condition.
  • Always consult a qualified health professional about any health concern, and before making decisions based on your results.
  • In a crisis or emergency, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line immediately. EU-wide support is available via befrienders.org. The Service is not monitored and cannot respond to emergencies.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you are.

5. Payment and access

The full report is unlocked by a one-time payment processed by Stripe. The price is shown before you pay. Once payment is confirmed, your report is generated immediately in your browser and can be saved as a PDF. Access is provided for your own personal, non-commercial use.

6. Refunds

The report is digital content delivered instantly. Under EU consumer law you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content — however, by proceeding to unlock and view your report you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that you therefore lose that right of withdrawal once the content has been supplied.

If something went wrong — for example you were charged but the report did not unlock — contact us at contact@hopehealthsafety.com and we will put it right, including issuing a refund where appropriate.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service unlawfully or for anyone under 18;
  • copy, resell, or redistribute the assessment content or reports, or present them as a clinical diagnosis to others;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its payment flow.

8. Intellectual property

The design, text, scoring logic and report layout of the Service are owned by Hope Health & Safety. The underlying clinical instruments remain the work of their respective authors and are used in line with their own public-domain or free-use terms; see the Clinical Methodology page for sources.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hope Health & Safety is not liable for any decision made, or action taken, in reliance on the Service, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgariaand applicable EU law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are unaffected.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always shown here with its “Last updated” date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
